California Letter (PTAL) nasil alinir?

Listede olmayan okullarimiz icin dekan/rektorun bi istek icin bi mektup yazmasi gerekiyormus. Devlete bagli bi okul olursa kolay oluyormus, verdikleri cevap.

You can contact the dean or rector of your medical school and ask that they contact the Board to request recognition. The dean should write a brief letter to the Board (in English, on school letterhead, signed by the dean or rector or similar school official) requesting recognition. The Board will then contact the school to request specific information to determine if the school is eligible for recognition under California law.

If the school is government owned and operated, or a bona fide non-profit institution that is registered with the country where it is located, and it’s primary purpose is to educate citizens from their country to stay and practice medicine in their country, then the recognition process is fairly simple and quick. If, however, the school is a private “for profit” institution and/or primarily seeks to recruit or attract students from other countries who will return to their own country to practice medicine upon graduation (including “English language programs” offered at schools where the official language is a language other than English), then the school must submit the Board’s in-depth Self-Assessment Report and a site visit from the Board may be required. The letter the Board sends the school will help determine which category the school falls into.

Ufak bir ayrinti, bilinmesinde fayda var ve sanirim webde yok. Basvuru yapmak yani dosyani a tirmak icin ECFMG certified olman gerekmiyor. Herhangibir USMLE sinavini alman yeterli. Malum senin egitimin ve ozellikle ders saatleri vs knusunu okula dogrulattirmalari vs uzun zaman aldigi icin, PTAL almakta kararli isen herhangibir sinavi aldiktan sonra hemen basvur!

Update isi icin para demiyorsun, sadece ayni formlari gonderiyorsun. Yalniz belli br sure sonra eger herhangibirsey yapmiyor, yani sende bir ilerleme yoksa, sana ihtar gibi birsey gonderiyorlarmis.

Henuz basvurmadim su anda ssn im yok zaten, seneye ssn im olacak simdiden bakiyorum.

O zaman sorun olmuyor egitim icin, cok sevindim. Asagi yukari tum universitelerin egitimleri ayni. Okulla cok zor ilerliyor benim islerim, ingilizce bildiklerinden bile supheliyim, ben basvurunca izninizle sizin basinizi agritacagim o zaman,

Zamaninda ben de cok cirpindigim icin bu basliga yazma ihtiyaci hissettim. Ben PTAL imi zannediyorum 2008 vaye 2009 da aldim. Tam hatirlamiyorum. O zamandan sonra cok birsey degistigini sanmiyorum, ama tam ayrintisiyla da bilmiyorum. Bizim turk niversitelerinden mezun olanlarin, 6 yillik egitim nedeniyle, PTAL ile ilgili pek sorun yasayacagini sanmiyorum. Sedece zaman alan ve okulundan birinin destegiyle, ogrenci isleri, olabilecek birsey. Ozel sorularin varsa yanitlayabilirm. Benim. Bu konuda yazdigim uzun birkac yazi vardi ama suan nerde, usmerde mi, usmleturk temi bilmiyorum, ama baya detayli herseyi tek tek yazmistim!

Eger medical board of california web sitesinden okuduktan sonra ozellkle L formlarla ilgili sorularin varsa sorabilirsin!

California letter (ptal) california da asistanlik, fellowluk ya da herhangi bir sekilde doktorluk yapabilmek icin gerekli bir belge.
SSN (social security number) istiyorlar bir de okulun medical board of california tarafindan taninmis olmasi gerekiyor.

Bu belgeye basvuran, alan oldu mu aceba? Islemleri beni biraz korkuttu. Ogrenci islerimiz rezalet malumunuz.

Bir de listede tum okullarimiz yok tek tek okullarin basvurmasi gerekiyor diyor, aceba olan okullar basvurdu mu da kabul edildi, bu durumda o okullardan birileri basvurmustur herhalde. Listede olmayan okullarin eklenme prosedurlerine de baktim cok cetrefilli gibi, okul ziyareti bile var, masraflari okul karsilamaliymis yanlis anlamadi isem. Simdi listedeki diger okullari ziyaret etmisler mi?? Gelmisken digerlerini de gezselermis keske.
