Good explanations, good questions.....explains the logic behind many of the correct answers and incorrect answers. I've learned a lot from using this book so far in cardiovascular section. However, a downside is that the if you haven't finished almost the entire course of pharmacology you'll be doing questions not knowing if you've learned the concept of the question until you've read it and the choices since each chapter addresses 4-10 different types of drugs. So, for an example a chapter called "central nervous system" has antidepressants, sedatives, opioids etc..... so it's a good book to do a comprehensive check after learning all the drugs in each chapter. Or you can simply skip the questions you haven't learned. However, if you are a med student and time is a premium, spending time to read the questions and realizing you haven't learned it can be time consuming. Another huge problem is that some topics just aren't very thoroughly covered. For an instance there are very very few virus related questions, respiratory, renal and GI questions (I really mean very few...about 20 for each of those topics).
