yorum 1:In my preparation for USMLE Step 2 CS, I have found this book to be the most useful. It breaks down each step of the interview and physical exam process. The chart of the 35 most commonly seen cases was an added bonus. It is loaded with additional information that isn't provided in the others sources outh there. Some extra materials include: lists of questions to ask to ask by body systems (cardiovascular, GI, endocrine, CNS), flashcard study materials for differentials and typical tests to order, and it even provides IMG friendly hospitals and possible observerships to check out. I particularly like the challenging quesitons posed at the end of each case. This has enabled me to better prepare for the typical cases I will see on the day of my exam. In my opinion, this is the only book any medical student (american or international) would need to adequately study for the exam and do well on it. I would highly recommend it!!I look forward to future books from this author, specifically a Step 1 or Step 2 review book.

yorum 2:The book is written as in a great haste.
The cases have no real background and the DD & work-up is at leat questionable. Plus, in many cases, there are discrepancies between what is written for an SP and what we can later read on the PN.Whether you are an IMG or not (doesn't make that much of a difference on the exam anyway), there are better books out there to prepare you for Step 2 CS.
